With restaurant chains, and other large hospitality businesses closed, food distributors are no longer receiving the bulk orders they did a few weeks ago.
As a result, in many cases farmers have no other option but to turn fresh produce into mulch.
This is why we are working with our food distributors to select items available in abundance.
This helps us save money, allows us to provide more grocery kits, and helps the farming community and food industry workforce!
